Tami B. Sojka is a Minnesota native, who developed an interest in photography in her early 20's when she received her first SLR camera. She enjoys capturing the urban and natural environment, and making connections with people through her travels throughout the US and Africa. Tami developed her appreciation for nature as a young child spending time outdoors exploring and walking the North Woods with her father. Tami graduated with a  Communication degree from the University of Minnesota, Duluth.  Tami is passionate about the beauty of words and poetry, and creating images that paired with words or alone evoke an emotional response in the viewer. Her photographs has been recognized and  featured in exhibitions and publications throughout the US, as well as internationally.
